Welcome to the Shreshta Tech Fest ("the Fest"), organized by Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science ("MITS"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fest, including its various events, design elements, and activities. By participating in or attending the Fest, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from participating.
The Fest is open to students from MITS as well as students from other institutions. By registering for the Fest, you confirm that you have provided accurate and complete information during the registration process and agree to adhere to the guidelines specified by the organizers.
Access: Access to certain Fest events may require prior registration and payment of applicable fees. Registration details will be verified during the event.
Permitted Use: All Fest materials, including design templates, logos, and graphics provided by the organizers, are for personal and educational purposes only. They must not be used for commercial purposes or shared without permission.
Prohibited Use: Participants must not:
• Share their access credentials with others.
• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any Fest content outside approved Fest-related activities.
• Modify or create derivative works based on Fest materials without explicit permission from the organizers.
All content provided during the Fest, including but not limited to designs, templates, logos, graphics, and text, is the property of MITS or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Participants agree not to remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices.
Participants agree to:
● Use Fest resources responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
● Avoid any activities that could disrupt or impair the experience for other attendees.
● Refrain from attempting unauthorized access to any event resources, systems, or networks.
The organizers reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Fest for any participant who breaches these Terms or engages in inappropriate behavior. Upon termination, the participant’s right to access Fest resources will immediately cease.
Disclaimer of Warranties: The Fest is provided "as-is" and "as-available." MITS makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Fest or the accuracy of its content.
Limitation of Liability: MITS shall not be liable for any damages resulting from participation in the Fest, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
The organizers may update these Terms from time to time. Participants will be informed of significant changes through official communication channels. Continued participation in the Fest after changes are made indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
Your participation in the Fest is subject to the Privacy Policy, which outlines how your personal information is collected, used, and protected. By participating, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the policy regularly.
Governing Law: These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the Fest shall be governed by the laws of Kerala, India.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, they shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ernakulam, Kerala.
